Q: I’ve never been to WingFest before… what should I expect?

A: You can expect music, beer, cocktails, great times and unlimited WINGS!


Q: What’s included with a General Admission ticket?

A: Access to the event including: unlimited wings from some of the best wing-slingin’ chefs in Chicagoland, live music, raffles, eating contests, games, and a first-hand witness of the madness that is WingFest.


Q: What’s included with a VIP ticket?

A: Everything included in a General Admission ticket plus: Five (5) drink tickets, parking spot, goodie bag, and access to the VIP area with a great view of the event. (NOTE: Red Bull cocktails and certain premium liquor may require 2 tickets per beverage.)


Q: Will there be alcohol at WingFest?

A: Yes, of course.


Q: Will tailgating be allowed at WingFest?

A: Due to the new location at UIC Pavillion and their parking lot rules and regulations, tailgating will no longer be allowed at WingFest.


Q: Is this a “21 and over” event?

A: Yes, ticket holders must be over the age of 21 to enter. Under 21 permitted with legal guardian only.


Q: How can tickets be purchased?

A: The link to purchase tickets will be available on our website, and will be posted on our Facebook and Twitter pages.


Q: Will there be tickets available at the event?

A: WingFest sells out within seconds, so we cannot promise that there will be tickets left at the door. Bottom line: buy ‘em early!


Q: Are drinks included in the ticket price?

A: With VIP tickets only, five (5) drink tickets will be included. No drink tickets are provided with a General Admission ticket.


Q: How many wings do I get to eat with my ticket?

A: As a ticket holder, you can eat as many wings as you’d like until you’re uncomfortably full.


Q: Can I get some wings to-go?

A: This is not a to-go event. No wings will be allowed to leave the site.


Q: What is the best time to show up?

A: We recommend arriving before1pm, which is when the doors to WingFest open.


Q: Is WingFest accessible via the CTA or other public transportation?

A: The blue line stops at Racine a block away from UIC Pavillion (525 S Racine Ave, Chicago, IL 60607) and there are several CTA buses that travel throughout the area. TIP: Use the CTA’s Trip Planner to help.


Q: Is there parking?

A: There is a large parking lot across the street available for on-site parking, but we recommend using public transportation.


Q: Are pets allowed at WingFest?

A: No, Chicago Municipal Health Code prohibits admittance of any pets at this event.


Q: If I have pre-registered for the Wing Eating Competition, do I need to purchase a ticket to the event?

A: Yes, the eating competition is only available to valid ticket holders.

Q: What is the judging process that determines the “Best of Fest” winner?

A: Our judging is based on a double-blind process, based on appearance, aroma and taste.  The highest combined score from each category dictates the “Best Of Fest” winner!
