Q: I’ve never been to WingFest before… what should I expect?

Q: What’s included with a General Admission ticket?
A: Access to the event, including: unlimited wings from some of the best wing-slingin’ chefs in Chicagoland, live music, raffles, eating contests, games, and a first-hand witness of the madness that is Chicago WingFest.
Q: What’s included with a VIP ticket?
A: Everything included in a General Admission ticket plus: Five (5) drink tickets, a parking pass, goodie bag, and access to the VIP balcony area with a great view of the event. (NOTE: Red Bull cocktails and certain premium liquor may require 2 tickets per beverage.)
Q: Will there be alcohol at WingFest?
A: Yes, of course.
Q: Is this a “21 and over” event?
A: Yes, ticket holders must be over the age of 21 to enter.
Q: How can tickets be purchased?
A: Online at: www.ticketweb.com. We’ll post the link under the “Tickets” tab on our website as well.
Q: Will there be tickets available at the event?
A: No tickets will be sold at the venue. They can only be purchased online prior to the event.
Q: If my tickets are purchased too late to receive them in the mail, how do I get in?
A: If you purchase too late to make the mailing deadline, your tickets will be available at the Bailey Auditorium “Will Call” window the day of the event. Please have a valid photo I.D. and the credit card used to purchase the tickets.
Q: My friend purchased my tickets, and I want to pick them up at the event. How do I get them?
A: These are considered “will call” tickets. We are required to verify I.D. to match the purchaser’s record in order to distribute “will call” tickets.
Q: Are any drinks included in the ticket price?
A: With VIP tickets only, five (5) drink tickets will be included. No drink tickets are provided with a General Admission ticket.
Q: How many wings do I get to eat with my ticket?
A: As a ticket holder, you may eat as many wings that are available during the event.
Q: Can I get some wings to-go?
A: No, please refrain from bringing to-go containers.
Q: What is the best time to show up?
A: We recommend arriving before 1pm, which is when the doors to WingFest open.
Q: Is WingFest accessible via the CTA or other public transportation?
A: Both the pink and green line trains have stops that are within a couple of blocks of The Bailey Auditorium, 1340 W. Washington in Chicago, and there are several CTA buses that travel throughout the area. TIP: Use the CTA’s Trip Planner to help.
Q: Is there parking?
A: There will be limited on-site parking available. If you purchase a VIP ticket, parking is included.
Q: Are pets allowed at your event?
A: No, Chicago Municipal Health Code prohibits admittance of any pets at this event.
Q: If I have pre-registered for the Wing Eating Competition, do I need to purchase a ticket to the event?
A: Yes, the eating competition is only available to valid ticket holders.
Q: I just can’t get enough… Where can I find more WingFesters and info about the event?
Q: What is the judging process that determines the “Best of Fest” winner?
A: We recently added a blurb on the “About” page describing just that.
